"This should be no trouble at all, considering what The Assassin is trying to pull off today."

-Clark in The Ones Who Know.

Clark Boomer, better known as Wirez, is a member of Professor's Gang.

History

At some point, P.T. Boomer had Clark with an unknown German mother. Much of their relationship is unknown, but Clark left his family in England to return to Germany when he was a young adult.

Clark then sustained a major injury that caused him to require modifications with metal and wires to keep him alive, thus he gained the alias Wirez.

Season 3

Attack of the Assassin

Wirez, along with the other members of Professor's Gang, step out of a brake van in the Killdane Scrap and Ironworks. The Professor introduces all of them to the Assassin. Wirez stays silent.

Down by the Docks

Wirez, along with most of the other members of Professor's Gang, flee the scene when Thomas and General Phoenix Brown arrive.

The Ones Who Know

Wirez, along with Fatman, Spike and Metalchest, are on a mission to hijack a train and take the supplies to the Professor's boss, The Mastermind. They hide at Brendam Docks until the coast is clear. Fatman kills a workman without using a silencer, angering Spike, Metalchest steps in, angering Spike even more, and eventually the two have a brief fist-fight, resulting in Spike landing in pile of pipes. Metalchest walks off, informing Spike that he will not be bossed around. Spike and the others, in shock, watch as their comrade walks off.

Andy arrives at the docks, giving Professor's Gang an update on BoCo. Fatman wants them to take a ship as an escape vehicle during the heist, but Metalchest shows authority and says rail is the best way. Wirez declares that he'll knock BoCo over and Andy will get the goods. Wirez then claims that their mission will be easy compared to that of the assassin, which causes Metalchest to stop walking away and ask what is happening. Spike then exclaims that the latter isn't his right hand man and doesn't deserve to know. Andy gets into position while Metalchest thinks about if he actually belongs there. Wirez says that he believes in learning on the job, which triggers a flashback for Metalchest.

A gang member informs Alastor that BoCo and another engine are nearing the docks. Alastor informs Fatman about this and Wirez spots Stepney. He races forward in the gantry crane, causing Fatman, who was standing on it, to fly backwards and onto the rails. Wirez overshoots the train and races back. Stepney tries to stop but ends up running over Fatman. Wirez knocks Stepney over with the crane, Spike shoots a lock which causes the train to stop, and BoCo surges forward around the bend. Andy couples up to the train, the remaining members of Professor's Gang get in his cab, and he sets off. Wirez and the others then make their escape with the minerals. They pick up more cargo from the Killdane Scrap and Ironworks and transport it to a location near Barrow-in-Furness.

Andy stops at Barrow-in-Furness Station and Metalchest steps out onto the platform for a moment, but Wirez and the others stay in Andy's cab.

The Road to Sodor

Wirez and a majority of Professor's Gang meet Metalchest outside of Henry's Tunnel to eliminate Cody. Wirez drives a lorry onto the hill next to the tunnel, steps out, and stands his ground. He watches Cody and Alastor's brief fight, but takes cover behind the lorry once the battle begins.

Wirez was not killed onscreen, so it is possible he survived.

Season 4

A Tale of Two Trains

Timothy tells 089 his backstory and how he formed Professor's Gang. After P.T. Boomer is thrown off of the viaduct, he begs Timothy to get him to his lab. Once he does, Boomer wakes up in a new modified body. Wirez stands in the background while wearing a hood. It is implied that he helped Timothy resurrect his father.

Persona

Wirez is the competent and tech-savy member of Professor's Gang. He was given his nickname from all of the wires and tubes that cover his torso. He is able to keep himself alive, as well as his father, for a time, through his technical prowess. However, he is a bit apprehensive and will correct his coworkers if they mess up or do something "political incorrect." He seems to have an admiration for the Assassin, but often keeps to himself.

Wirez is a decent marksman, able to wield guns and a bow. He is also able to drive various vehicles, such as a lorry and a gantry crane.
