History
Brad was built on the LBSCR and was sent to Tankopia to work, alongside Chance and eventually 089 for a brief time.
The Origins of 089
Brad met and befriended 089 and the two, along with Chance, spent the day together having fun. Mr. Green eventually came to pick an engine to be sent to Sodor and chose 089, but Brad tried to convince him to pick him. This was a futile effort.
Season 2
The Diesel Army
Brad cameoed with Chance and 089 in the background of the season premiere, but this is non cannon and is just an advertisement for The Origins of 089.
Battle of the Brave Brothers
Later in the season, 089 brought Brad and Chance to the mainland where they fought in the final battle of the Locomotive Wars.
Season 3
Man in the Shadows
Brad attended a celebration where the 08S were praised by General Phoenix in front of a large crowd.

Brad appeared briefly in Connor's vision.
Season 4
A Tale of Two Trains
Brad arrived at Mahrington Works with Connor and Harry, who had broken down. The former tried to joke and make conversation with Ivo Hugh, but he shot him down. Brad then reminded Connor that they needed to uncouple from Harry and go find another express engine. Connor volunteers and the two set off for the station.
At Mahrington Station, Brad reassures Connor that everything will be alright, until he notices his tender and then asks what Connor has been doing all these years. The latter doesn't know and Brad recommends Connor to Chance for a new one. Brad is then suspicious of an unnamed passenger, telling him that he contradicts himself. Brad then wished Connor good luck as he departed with his train.

Persona
Brad is a quirky engine who likes to make others laugh. He is very helpful though and easily gets along with others, especially newcomers. He is a very warm and welcoming individual, although his friends don't always enjoy his failing sense of humor. Brad often also tends to point out flaws in others, such as Ivo's name being in "massive print" and Goddard contradicting himself.

- Brad's character was not written by Nick, it was written by friend and fellow YouTuber, Owen Thomas. However, Brad will divert from the original characterization he had in his own series, Saving the World, in favor of something different in Quest 89, starting in Season 4.
